Babies should walk barefoot until they develop a proper gait, but in everyday life, it is sometimes necessary to put something on their feet to protect or keep them warm. To address this need, Attipas were created?shoes designed to protect feet when the environment or weather does not allow for barefoot walking. These are gentle shoes that do not interfere with the development of walking, allowing for healthy growth and free movement.
This is a spring/summer model, made with lightweight, cool Aqua-X fabric, designed for water and sunny days. Thanks to its quick-drying recycled fabric, it offers breathability and moisture control, making it a comfortable and sustainable option for both water play and everyday use.
Mada Tip: If your little one has wider ankles and the Attipas leave marks, you can leave them overnight in a container so they stretch slightly. Several customers have tested this and given positive feedback.
First Steps
When babies start taking steps without support. They should spend most of the time barefoot or in non-slip socks. The first shoes are needed once they start walking outdoors, to provide protection. They should be barefoot and minimalist to recreate the feeling of “being barefoot,” with a wide toe box for free toes, flexibility for natural movement, and a thin sole for sensory feedback and adaptation.
