Description
Coucouçava is a German barefoot shoe brand. This respectful project came to life in 2022, when the first granddaughter was born and a "completely different way of raising children" began. Their models reflect this story, combining the comfort of barefoot footwear with thoughtful design and high quality.
They have a foot-shaped, spacious design that gives the toes plenty of freedom. The sole is thin, flat and flexible, allowing proper posture and free movement. Although thin, it is firm enough to protect little feet.
Materials: Premium napa leather, leather lining and rubber sole.

The first year when the child learns to master walking and balance. It’s still important to prioritise barefoot time whenever possible, but barefoot shoes become more essential as children get more active. In the first six months, the ideal models are the most minimalist ones, almost like a “second skin,” so the child has maximum freedom of movement without restriction. They can be used as long as the size is available.
