Boots Cascade

Tip Toey Joey barefoot boots, designed for first steps and gait acquisition. They are one of the best options for this stage because they aim to simulate being barefoot as closely as possible, with a minimalist structure that allows maximum freedom of movement and sensory feedback. Their shape is wide, leaving little toes free. The sole is thin, flat and very flexible. They have an almost second-skin effect, keeping children very comfortable and giving them complete freedom to learn and explore.

Walking stage: This model is ideal from the moment children take their first steps for as long as sizes are available, especially during the first year of gait acquisition (the stage when they learn to walk and balance). As a reference, this usually happens when children are between 1 and 3 years old, on average. They only need to move to models for the next stage (fully established gait) when there is no longer a suitable size or when the model no longer works well in terms of wear.

Foot type: Models with two Velcro straps usually work best for medium, wide or medium/high-instep feet. They are very roomy over the instep and open completely for easy fitting. They can be adjusted according to individual needs. They are among the options with the widest insoles for the gait acquisition stage.

Composition: They are made from extra-soft REACH leather, free from toxic substances and safe for babies. They have a natural leather lining that allows the feet to breathe and an antibacterial leather-lined insole that absorbs perspiration and carries it away from the shoe. The sole is made from super-flexible, durable and non-slip natural rubber. Leather is naturally water-repellent, making them suitable even on rainy days and safe to wear in wet weather (although they are not suitable for jumping in puddles).

The brand: Tip Toey Joey is a Brazilian barefoot footwear brand founded in 2004, inspired by Sofia, the daughter of Anna and Scott McInerney. Her father is a designer and studied her little foot to create shoes that took her natural development into account. It all started with the outline of her foot. Today, with more than 20 years of experience, it is one of the leading references in children's barefoot footwear.
