Description
Barefoot canvas Sneakers by Blanditos by Crio's Calzados, designed to keep feet comfortable and fresh. They feature a wide shape that allows the toes to move freely. The sole is thin, flat and flexible, with protection all around for greater durability. They are part of the brand's accessible barefoot footwear line and are also a vegan option. They are ideal for daily use, including at school.

Gait stage: This model works best for children who have been walking independently for more than six months, as it has a more structured sole with protection all around. It can be used by children in gait acquisition as well as those with a fully developed gait. We only recommend avoiding them in the first steps (1 to 3 months after starting to walk independently) due to the reinforced protection around the sole.

Foot type: New model under evaluation.

Important: Wear the canvas shoes with socks during the first uses to ensure the material softens and adapts to the feet without causing any irritation. Children's skin is sensitive and this care helps ensure a more comfortable transition. Even after the adaptation period, it may continue to be more comfortable to wear them with thin cotton socks (both for thermal comfort and overall feel).

Composition: The interior and exterior are made of textile fabric (blend of cotton and polyester). The sole is made of PVC.

The brand: Blanditos belongs to Crio's Calzados, a family company founded in 1968 with extensive experience in children's footwear manufacturing. More recently, it focused on barefoot footwear with Blanditos, a brand that stands out for considering the healthy development of children and their feet.

The first year when the child learns to master walking and balance. It’s still important to prioritise barefoot time whenever possible, but barefoot shoes become more essential as children get more active. In the first six months, the ideal models are the most minimalist ones, almost like a “second skin,” so the child has maximum freedom of movement without restriction. They can be used as long as the size is available.
Run & Play
Around one year after they start walking, children usually master walking and balance. They run, jump, and play actively. For this reason, shoes—while still comfortable and barefoot-friendly—become slightly more structured with toe protection, to better support play and durability. Choose the size that leaves 0.8 to 1.2 cm of space (the maximum for comfort and longer wear).
Each size can be worn respectfully until there is only 0.5 cm left, and it’s considered too small when it’s below that.
