Barefoot footwear from the Spanish brand Zapato Feroz, designed following the guidance of pediatric podiatrists. These models allow babies to enjoy the sensation of walking barefoot in their daily routine.
Foot type: According to the brand, ideal for medium and low insteps.
Materials:
- Upper: Twill fabric with a cotton-like finish. Resistant, lightweight and breathable.
- Lining: Coolmax micro-perforated technical fabric, designed to move moisture outward and keep the foot dry for longer.
- Insole: Breathable materials thanks to the micro-perforated technical fabric and foam support with activated charcoal to prevent bacteria and bad odour. Keeps the foot dry for longer. Removable, washable and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
- Sole: Highly flexible and non-slip rubber. Minimal thickness to reduce impact while maintaining ground contact. Natural rubber produces less waste, making it more sustainable and eco-friendly.

- Straight shape to accommodate the foot, with 0° big-toe adduction.
- Flat, thin (3.5 mm) and flexible sole that enhances ground feedback.

When babies start taking steps without support. They should spend most of the time barefoot or in non-slip socks. The first shoes are needed once they start walking outdoors, to provide protection. The first year when the child learns to master walking and balance.
