Barefoot Shoes by the Brazilian brand Tip Toey Joey. The wide toe box design aligned with the feet's anatomy, allows for toe freedom, keeping them straight, activated and free to grow healthily.
These shoes are one of the best options for this stage, when kids begin to take their first steps. They are very minimalistic, lightweight and flexible, offering protection while letting the feet grow as natural as if they were barefoot.
Velcro shoes tend to fit medium to larger feet, with a higher instep/arch better, while elastic laces are a better fit for narrower/thinner feet with a lower arch.
Walking Stage: especially designed for when children are taking their first steps and developing balance, which usually occurs, on average, between 1 to 3 years old. Sizes 24 and 25 are present on both walking stages. For very active children, walking for more than a year, Run & Play shoes might be a better option, since they provide a rubber protection.
